Introduction to Tracking
Tracking allows any user to see the progress of a shipment of any transport mode. In the public Tracking no data is visible that would allow an unauthorized user to identify the cargo details or the involved parties.
Users can:
- search using an STT (Schenker track and trace) number, container number, AirWay Bill number, or House Bill of Lading number.
- use a customer reference number of various types to start a search.
- subscribe to a shipment to be informed of updates via emails.
Users with Advanced Tracking permissions in their configuration will be able to see all shipment and cargo related details and documents that are related to their shipments. This may also include live tracking and telemetry data.
Users can track shipments manually via the Web interface, they can use the Tracking Web Service (API), QuickLink Tracking via URL, or the Schenker mobile app. The data is provided by CIS (Ocean and Air), CTTS (Land), and AU-Visibility (AU/NZ domestic Land and contract logistics movements).
